Dugger is the dog behind the question that launched the company: “How pet friendly are you, really, if I can’t get anything to eat?”
A Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise mix, Dugger has spent years appearing in product photos, videos, social content, and hotel welcome messages. His birthday falls on March 22, National Pet Friendly Day, which seems fitting for a dog whose mission is to improve travel and hospitality for dogs everywhere.
Dugger’s Mantra
Pet-friendly should mean more than simply tolerating pets. It should mean planning for them, communicating clearly with their people, and offering at least a few services designed with dogs in mind.
